Our Story
Azteca is owned by Martin, Teresa, and Sandra, who were born and raised in Jalisco, Mexico, a region rich in culinary & tequila culture. After raising their families in Chicago, they made the brave decision to move to upstate New York in search of a fresh start and a brighter future for their children. The first Azteca location was opened on a snowy Sunday in Oswego, NY - January 7th, 2007. Four years later, on April 25th, 2011, we expanded to our second location in Camillus, NY.
For us, food is more than just a meal, it’s a connection to home, heritage, and each other. Every dish we serve is inspired by the flavors we grew up with and the values we carry forward: family, community, and tradition.
Today, Azteca continues to be a family-run restaurant where guests are treated like family. Whether you're here for a quick lunch, a $5 margarita night, or a full dinner with loved ones, we're proud to have created a dining experience that brings loved ones together.
